Summer Reading Program 2021

The Abbeville Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program for 2021 ended and was a great success. We want to thank everyone that attended the presentations at the Boys & Girls Club, and especially the children that read and enjoyed so many great books! We congratulate our top readers from the three age groups: 5-8, Maddox Culpepper, 9-12, Brandy Sauls, and 13-16, Aricka Williams. Reading not only helps a child develop critical thinking skills, but it gives them a greater chance at success later in life. Abbeville Memorial Library is proud to support our community in becoming the best they can be!

The Summer Reading Program was sponsored by a grant from Wiregrass Resource Conservation and Development (WRCD) Ozark, and we would like to thank them for their continuing support. We would also like to thank Ms. Neandre Greene and all the Abbeville Boys & Girls Club staff for the use of their facilities.
