We will be announcing the winners on Friday, July 28th, (after notifying them by phone) of Our Summer Reading Program. We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the 5-8 years, and 9-12 years age groups. Good Luck.

Mr. Glenn Wills has travelled those roads less travelled. What started as a chance encounter became a mission. He has a collection of close to 15,000 photographs taken from all over Alabama’s 67 counties of buildings, and places that time seems to have passed by. We will be having a presentation here at the library on Thursday, July 20th at 5 pm. There is no charge to attend. Seating is limited to 50 people, so if you plan to attend you had better come early.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Abbeville Memorial Library Board will be held next Thursday, July 20th at 1 pm in the Alliegene Edwards Farmer meeting room inside the library. As always the meeting is open to the Public.

Just a reminder that the Summer Reading Logs have to be turned into the library by 5 pm this Friday, July 14th. Good Luck to everyone participating.
